Dear friends, at 70 years old and disabled with MS, been legally blind in my left eye since Christmas 1993 due to what was diagnosed in 2018 as an Ocular retrobulbar hemorrhage involving scarring of the optic nerve tissue.
Corrective lenses are useless, like seeing through an ice cube, while floaters are present in both eyes from blood buildup in the brain. A former radio broadcaster, I was then made homeless by economic troubles in 2022.
After putting all of my belongings into a storage unit, I subsequently was forced to live in my 1998 high maintenance Crown Vic with my pet cockatiel Toby
until I could raise the money to purchase all cash a small house or mobile home in Jacksonville. Unfortunately, government assistance and the public housing waiting lists are backlogged for years to come.
